Racism is a big problem in today’s society. Many people are not aware of how much racism still exists in our schools workforces, and anywhere else where social lives are occurring. Racism is still around an dit’s bad now then it was before . Racism very much exists and it is about time that people need to start thinking about the solutions to this matter. Many people believe that it depends on if a person was brought into the world as a racist or not but that is not the case at all. In fact, A person can’t be born racist but can only be one from childhood to adulthood. On the news they pass white cops killing black people and and in giving them news coverage, it widely publicizes the views of these responsible groups. Clearly, the mainstream or the media can be used for both for and against racism , When racist groups voice their negative opinions in public, the media will be all over it, but if it is a anti-racism group that is talking about solutions to prevent racism, it is very rare that one will hear about it on the radio or read about it in the paper. Racism is so big now because if one person doesn something bad there whole race gets blamed for what a person did for example if a Mexican person killed a …show more content…
The big problem’s in school’s now is that they don’t teach so much of the racism any more. Sometimes kids don’t feel comfortable because of their skin tone or their race or religion which that shouldn’t matter because school is to get our education . Like in the huffington article it quotes “or when my high school boyfriend’s parents told him he had to stop dating me. Parents are so used to how life was back then that they want their kids to grow up the same , time has changed but there still those parents that tell their kids stick to your own kind and that’s what they do and that’s how racism increases with our younger kids
