Proposition 63 For quite some time there have been issues with guns and ammo capacity. Proposition 63 offers to regulate ammo capacity and check people’s background to make sure the customers who purchase firearms are not criminals who can harm our society. Many people agree that preventing weapons from falling into the wrong hands is crucial. Therefore, proposition 63 should be approved because it will close loopholes to prevent dangerous criminals from obtaining guns, make the state of California assure from high ammo capacity weapons, and to revitalize the system of regulating firearms. Criminals easily obtain access to guns due to the markets not checking their background information. If proposition 63 is put into effect it will assure the public that fugitives will have a hard time collecting firearms. This advertisement contends, “More than 300 Americans are shot each day, and more than 80 of them are fatally” (Kcet,2016). Having high ammo capacity for firearms puts people’s lives in danger. This research illustrates how the people are frightened especially if the guns have a high ammo capacity. Proposition 63 will let people who buy firearms have a restriction on ammunition. Doing this our state will be much safer from weapons. People who have guns will not be able to shoot all they want because they would run out of ammo. That will cause felons to not be reckless and ensure that families are more secure because of Proposition 63. Thus, creating a safer society for the state of California should be the main priority, therefore proposition 63 can accomplish that
