As I ran through the field in the final tournament of the day, with only a few pellets left in my magazine, I can feel the air of crossfire dashing by my body. I quickly sprint to the building, spot my opponent and shoot, and cover him in pellets, hes out of the game! Airsoft one of the more difficult, stratigic and fun sport that should certainly be adoped by the Olympics, and will be if people promote the sport. Although it would be an extremely hard process, competing for the glory of gold would be worth every little bit of effort. Airsoft is often reffered to a violent and just a game, but the right funding and if people are shown that all safety percautions have been taken then they would relise the seriousness of the sport …show more content…
More paintballers would be happy because the advertisement the Olympics would give paintballing. This would mean more people would join this already dense populated sport and more paintballing fields would open for the public around the world. Even still time and effort is needed in promoting paintballing as a safe and fun sport may sound hard but anyone can contribute positivley to the sports immage. All anyone needs to do is speak up!
Tell someone about paintballing or the next time you see someone on the paintball field with their goggles up, say something. Keep in mind this sport is growing quickly, and there are a lot of newbies on the field. Many are so excited to play they just don't remember the necessity of keeping their mask on. If no one points it out, then they will continue to leave their mask up, possibly leading to injury, and from that leads to negative publicity. Remember Paintguns are for paintball and should be used only for paintball, on an insured field.
They aren't show and tell items, halloween props, or a neat game of tag in the backyard. These are the things you need to remember if you want paintballing in the Olympics and help it grow around the
