More than 2 billion people in the world is now obese, that is one obese person for every three people on the planet. How can we stop the other two? Obesity is one of the major leading causes of debt causing the global economy $2 trillion a year. As the debt continues to rise so does the cost of medical bills for treating it. If the people worldwide do not regulate their food the problem will keep on growing, which is why the government should take action by regulating the nations obesity fighting government organizations and laws, making law to help reduce the cost of treating obesity, and by reducing the mortality rates related to obesity.
