Animals should be allowed to be used in live interaction filming. Usually all of the animals that take part in the process of live filming are not harmed at all, though it is a very contemplated subject. Animals that are harmed during filming commonly show signs of aggression. So it would be very unwise for a director to have the animal physically injured or harmed on purpose. Even if the the animal had been harmed, there are laws that state that consequences will be put in place if proper animal treatment is not used. The mistreatment of animals during live action filming is taken into account and is disciplined. Therefore it is unlikely that anyone would mistreat an animal during filming.
