The second Amendment was written to save people’s lives and provide American citizens a safe environment. This is twenty first century America has provided its citizen a safe, protective and liberal environment. Nobody needs guns for protection. People are losing their loved ones, school aged children have lost their lives, parents have lost their lives, grandparents have lost their lives. All this is happening because of right to bear arms. Many States have voted not to bear arms but southern states always won because they bring second Amendment in and thinks they have a right to bear arms. This is why most of these bloody massacres are happening in the South rather than North. In North most of the people believe that they should not own a gun because police is there for them twenty four hours and seven days

In recent days, there has been many problems come to surface over gun control. From Sandy Hook, Columbine, Orlando and Colorado, many people feel we need to do something about these shootings. Some believe that that the way to solve this is to ban firearms altogether, and others feel we should arm every citizen. I think that a happy middle would be a great way to start. The firearm ban from 1994 had little to no noticeable effect because it left normal law abiding citizens unable to arm themselves and criminals (surprisingly) still didn't heed the law.…

Devastating, frightening and incomprehensible, school shootings are hardly new to the United States of America. Statistics gathered from just ten school shootings, account for one hundred and thirty-three dead and one hundred and forty-two injured, representing the work product of America’s ten deadliest school shooters. To qualify as one of the ten deadliest, the shooter must have struck a minimum of ten individuals and caused at least five deaths. Yet, the question remains, what type of person would enter a school with the purpose to extinguish human life?…

Following recent events (involving multiple mass shootings and attacks) many people think that the laws on guns in the United States of America need to be much tighter. I am one of these people. At the moment, as soon as you cross the US border, you have the legal right to purchase yourself a fire arm for personal protection, sport and (apparently, in some unfortunate cases) carrying out an unreasoned mass shooting. This document serves to explain some of the holes in the American legal system. While my foremost problem is not with guns themselves, it is a fact that they are, in the first place, an inherent danger and owning them, in the first instance, causes more trouble than they’re worth.…

Mass Shootings The anti-gun crowd would like us to believe that with more guns, comes more gun violence, but since more and more states have allowed people to carry a side arm, crime has declined. Can these things be a mere coincidence? Perhaps, but even if that’s true, it still proves that allowing law abiding citizens to be armed does not increase crime, and suggest that it contributes to lowering it instead (Federal Bureau of Investigation, n.d.). Something else to ponder is where do mass shootings occur?…

School shootings are a trend that unfortunately has been getting popular for more than a decade. This is causing schools to increase security and prepare for a potential war against unknown individuals. This has shown a negative effect on a significant amount of students who now see school as unsafe. Metal detectors, security cameras, and many other security safeguards have been a regular necessity for schools. Instead of using these things as a last resort effort to prevent violence there needs to be a less invasive plan in place that limits the security presence on campuses without it being overwhelming.…

Massacre is an element of fear for the United States civilians. There are many massacres in public today; in general, one is too many. CNN reported that a man massacred 20 adults and 6 students by gunfire at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, in Connecticut on December 14, and then he shot himself too (Sandy Hook shooting: What happened?). This is one example for the use of guns for massacre. Let alone what the motivation were, guns have been used for massacre.…

That day they took the lives of 13 students and wounded 23 more students. This is just a small fraction of all the mass shootings going on in America. On April 16, 2007 at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia another 23 year old gunman killed 32 people and wounded an undetermined number of individuals. Again, on December 14, 2012 another shooter named Adam Lanza took innocent lives. The ones killed were twenty children and six adults who courageously put their lives before the innocent children at the Sandy Hook elementary school (Atkin).…
