To begin with, the drinking age should be lowered because if you are allowed to fight for your country, you should be able to drink. We already know that there are teenagers out there that drink unsupervised or illegally. Whether it’s drinking their parent’s alcoholic beverage or just buying their own with a fake I.D. “... causes them to drink in other unsupervised places such as fraternity houses or house parties” (https://drinkingage.procon.org/ Pro 2). This means that even if we don’t allow older teens to drink, they are going to find out a way to do it behind our backs. To prevent this we should lower the drinking age to eighteen where teenagers don’t feel the need to drink
