In 2016, just under fifty people were murdered in Orlando Florida. This massacre happened at a gay nightclub.( Being a LGBT member should still mean you are granted your human rights. This means that you should not feel timid about going out with your friends on a Saturday night and feeling that you might be killed or beaten. Around five-thousand lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender people commit suicide each year and around another five hundred-thousand youth lgbt attempt suicide. No matter the person's gender, they are human. That means that LGBT are granted their human rights as soon as they are born, because they are human. LGBT members in the U.S. are not given the same rights as other U.S. citizens. In the United States of America, LGBT aren't even let into their military to fight for their own country. Even though LGBT are different they should be allowed to fight for their own country.
My last reason to support LGBT rights is because many innocent people are beaten and killed for being lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. People are abused for living the life that they chose to live. LGBT are ten times more likely to be bullied over any other student when going to school. Them being bullied causes them to feel unsafe at school and they decide to stay home and lose their education.
