In the United States twenty nine of the fifty states have legalized medical marijuana. Most recently a few states have legalized recreational marijuana. In 2015, Colorado earned millions in taxes and fees on both medical and recreational marijuana. Legalizing recreational marijuana in the state could support thousands of jobs and generate billions in labor income. These are just some great facts about legalizing marijuana and what it can do for the economy, and how not only the United States but the World could benefit from legalization.
Every dollar spent in the cannabis industry earns about double the amount in economic activity. Government spending is the only thing has a higher multiplier.
