Marijuana is one of the most commonly used drugs in the United States, and I think it will continue to be used for private reasons and medical uses, so it should be legalized. For thousands of years, marijuana has been used to treat a wide variety of things. People are still using Marijuana if it is legal or not. Since it’s already used in so many places for different purposes and is legal in 23 other states and used regardless if it is legal or not, why not legalize it for a profit?
No one has ever died from an overdose of marijuana, it is known as one of the safest therapeutically active substances. Some of the benefits of marijuana have been relief from nausea and appetite loss, reduction of intraocular (within the eye) pressure, reduction of muscle spasms, and relief from chronic pain. It is also very beneficial in the treatment of many conditions; such as, aids, hepatitis, glaucoma, epilepsy, cancer, and many more. Each of these applications has been deemed legitimate by at least one court, legislature, and or government agency. Many patients also report that marijuana is useful for treating arthritis, migraines, menstrual cramps, alcohol and opiate addiction, depression, and other mood disorders. People have been struggling with the things listed and have not been able to get a medical marijuana card. Many have had to suffer with

Although many over the counter drugs kill thousands of americans every year, marijuana is one of the few drugs that has caused fatality. There is also no known dosage that could lead to fatality. It is one of those rare drugs without risk of overdose, which makes it one of the safest drugs to use. It also helps your memory and is known to help people who struggle with anxiety and depression, and can wipe out bad memories by dampening nerve cell action contributing to the anxiety stemming from remembered bad
