Firstly, I chose to use an assortment of alliteration, evidence and rhetorical questions to get my point across. Using small alliterations similar such as “statistics show” or “gender gap”, the brain subconsciously focuses on the sentence and its content. Secondly, I used evidence as it is a fundamental part of writing a persuasive essay. It provides an insight to the issue and how it affects the real world. I used two types of evidence; statistics and quotes from professionals. My reasoning for using two types of evidence is that one form of evidence would have aided in persuading a handful of people but by combining the two styles of evidence a larger audience can be persuaded. Lastly, I added rhetorical questions into my essay. I used these because it makes the reader think twice about the content of the argument. They act as direct contact between the writer and the reader, causing the reader to self reflect about how the topic affects them
