Some problems that we have are that we do not have anything to hunt animals with. We also do not know when it is a good time and place to go hunting. We went out to find some supplies we can use to make some weapons and traps. We figured that most animals usually go out in the woods and hide, so some students will go out and hunt animals in the woods. This is a problem that must be resolved because without food all of the students will be hungry.They will get hypoglycemia which is when the glucose levels in our bodies decrease. If this problem is not resolved we will have students starving to death. This is a major effect that we need to find a solution to as soon as possible because if more humans die, our population will be decreasing little …show more content…
There are a couple of places that have restrictions and rules that you cannot hunt. Those are things you have to be aware of. some of the long seasons with friendly regulations, reasonable pressure, a large, healthy and well-balanced herds are held in that have restrictions and you do need a permit to go hunting.First of all we will have to keep the meat in a cool area for example, we can keep them in a storage, shed or a shelter. A way we can preserve the meat is by smoking it. When we smoke the meat it will keep bacteria away from the meat. We can use charcoal or propane to smoke the meat, the temperature will have to be anywhere between 150 and 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Another method we can use is curing. Curing is basically a technique where it involves us preserving the meat with salt. We will need half a pound of salt mixed with a quarter cup of brown sugar, that would be enough for ten through twelve pounds of the meat. The sugar is needed to counterbalance the salt. once we mix the salt and the brown sugar together we will need to start spreading it over the meat. Usually, hunting season begins in August and ends towards the end of October. There are a couple of areas where hunting continues throughout winter.
