The most important thing I could tell anyone in your situation right now is “don’t be stupid”. First, think of all the horror films you have heard of or seen: A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Chucky. The majority of horror films are predictable (Carroll 97). Night One: The Chase

If they are large and bulky do not try to outrun them. They will not move because both of you know who will win a race, You’ll lose sight of them and they will appear out of nowhere in a few minutes. Instead back up slowly and look for an open field or climb to higher ground. Keep them in sight. Stare them down until they get bored and walk
