Adoption is when a child’s biological parents give up the right to be the child’s legal parents and the child receives new parents. The new parents then receive the same legal rights as biological parents. Homosexuals can’t give birth to a child naturally, and therefore one of the possibilities they have can be adoption. Some might say that there are too many problems with homosexual adoption. I would say that there are too many benefits with homosexual adoption not to allow it. Firstly, homosexuals are just as capable of loving and taking care of a child as straight couples. Secondly, children who live in poverty have, in most cases, a much brighter future in a family with a homosexual couple as parents. Thirdly, love, economy and the ability of being responsible should be considered much more valuable than sexual orientation.
No one can know who you are going to end up with in the future. Often when homosexuals open up, they are faced with hatred and discrimination from the people around them. That gay adoption is legal in Norway , but there are still many who do not, due to things such as bullying and arguments that " one must do what is best for the child ."
