Having people donate to the charity and giving some incentive to people who donate money would be a good way to get people to donate. For example, if people donated $100 or more they would get something like plaques or certificates of donations. Another way the charity could bring in money would be to partner with some kind of business and have some percent of their profits go to the charity. As well as asking for donations we could hold events once a year that would celebrate donors and bring in more money that way. Along with asking ‘,members of the community and local businesses to donate to our charity, we could place donation boxes at partner businesses so people are able to see that the charity exists and that it is easy to donate to our charity. It wouldn’t take much to make a difference in our community. It could be as little as dropping a few cents into a donation box, or as big as getting involved in the charity to do things like volunteering to hand out care packages or work in a soup kitchen.

By having a social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter, we can post our charity achievements on it and also include contact information. This will help our charities news spread throughout the community. This is a good way to have the community learn about what we are doing, and also so local companies can see this and they can find ways on how they can help out through their

It is nearly impossible to walk down Michigan Avenue without noticing the countless shivering, hungry people begging for spare change. But the people we see on our everyday route to school and work are only a very small portion of the thousands of people suffering throughout the city. I became part of a peer mentoring program, in which I counseled underprivileged and troubled middle school students. Through this program I discovered that homelessness was not a problem rooted in major cities, for it lied even in a town as small my own.…
