Home Health Care is form of health care administration that help people who needs day to day nurse care while at home. Some people who are on home health care are not able to do things on their own such as the following: make sure they complete their proper hygiene {bath, brush their teeth, and put their clothes on}, make sure their house is clean; make sure they take their proper medicine at the right time, and more. Home Health Care workers work with patients in their homes. They administer long-term or follow-up care after discharge from a hospital or medical facility. By working outside of a medical facility, it allows home health care nurses needs to be self-directed, time managed, and self-motivated towards the patient. They help work with both the patient and the patient families. This job isn’t an easy job for nurse. Some patients may need to be lifted, turn, or moved to certain areas. Home Health Care Nurses are responsible for moving the patients to the accurate areas. In order to be a home health care nurse, you must have strong communication skills. It is time when you will have a grumpy old patience; you must know how to talk to that person. People who are thinking about this field of nursing must be strong and educated with clinicians. The duties of home health care workers are simple but complex. They are responsible for providing assistance with simple tasks such as the following: bathing, grooming, and eating. Some agencies like Hospice require home care nurses to provide light housekeeping, do the patience laundry, and prepare meals for their clients.
