Guns have been a part of America since the beginning. Guns are America’s culture, which makes the second amendment a very sensitive subject in politics. Yet now more than ever is when that sensitive subject needs to be talked about. In the past month and a half there have been 18 school shootings just in America alone. People are fed up; the children are fed up. They want change and they want it now. The last school shooting in Parkland Fl had 17 deaths, not only that but the culprit who did this has shown violent tendencies in the past and has taken a mental health evaluation and failed. Yet he was easily allowed to purchase a AR-15, which is one of the most popular rifles in school shootings, without a permit. So, what exactly is the solution

The NRA have been funding republicans for votes and seats in senate. David Berman states “the National Rifle Association has bought and paid for votes of the republican party”. All the politicians want is just to get reelected every time, so they can stay in their golden chair in senate, congress, or even the executive. Especially Trump, the reality tv show star that is our President. Politicians give false promises and are funded by lobbies just to get votes. They brainwash the sheeple and when change needs to be done they ignore just because they want to keep that golden chair. Is that golden chair worth more than America’s children’s lives? Those American children were shot and killed, and politicians turn their backs for money. Since these politicians will not have a voice for the children they will have a voice of their own. These children who were victims and friends of victims from the parkland shooting have been standing up to the politicians. The children want safer schools, and gun control. Especially Emma Gonzales, she is pushing for gun control to make sure that these things do not happen again. People are inspired by these children and these children are making a difference in these matters of gun control. They are showing and encouraging people to unify on the matter and make it easier to make this country safe
