Do you think the control of guns will stop murders more often? Well here is what i think about that question. I kinda do believe if gun control was put in place there would be less death caused by gun fire. The rate in death will decrease in the U.S. because more people will have gun control of their own guns. Why? Because if certain people are allowed with guns like police officers, army men, hunters, and people that has a license to earn a gun. Then there wouldn’t be so many deaths caused by gun violence. There has recently been 3,425 people killed by gunfire in the past 2 years. Most gun violence deaths are caused from people making bets, playing cards, racing cars, fighting, and being gang members. People mainly kill people when they are either mad, when somebody owe them money, fighting, or getting revenge on somebody that harm them or someone in their family. When a person kills someone with a gun and that person doesn’t die the person that shot them will get charged with attempted murder. In that case the person that was charged will be sentenced to maybe 4-6 years into jail and maybe without bail. Also if a person kills someone with a gun then they will be sentenced to the max of 20-25 years in jail. There are usually about 20-40 people a year being arrested for attempted murder. When people kill other people they are able to have a gun, I think that people should take test, go through shooting drills, and sign a contract or something promising that they won’t harm anyone saying” I Promise That I Last Name And First Name Will Not Harm Anyone While Carrying This Weapon Right Hand To God” and if he/she goes against this contract after signing it and promising that they wouldn’t hurt anyone they should be sentenced to the max of 50 +plus years without bail maybe. If the control of guns was increased then the deaths caused by gun violence will be decreased rapidly. So I think the government should try and have more gun control over who is
