We need more gun control laws to protect people. The second amendment isn’t an unlimited right to own guns. The amendment is saying you can own a gun but you have to do it legally and get a permit with it. We need more gun control laws, because people need to know how to use them in order to have them, because you can’t just go waving them around in public (Slate Magazine). More gun control laws would reduce the amount of gun deaths. There was 464,033 gun deaths between 1999 and 2013, 270,237 were suicides 174,773 were caused by homicide.
