This freedom so to say, gives the student added responsibility to study the material at hand, retain the necessary information from it and ultimately complete the assignments without being told when and exactly how to do so. Some may find understanding and learning comes easier when it is done their way and on their terms, while others may find themselves at a mental standstill without a teacher in front of them to lend advice. Besides the ability to actually learn and excel from online courses, one must also know how to manage their time responsibly enough to complete and turn in their work within the given deadline. This new found independence gives the student the opportunity to learn the skills of time management and how to be more responsible and self-sufficient in all of their endeavors in the future. Traditional classes, it offers a sense of community, a one on one relationship between student and teacher and having the vital equipment in learning around the school. With online classes, the accessibility of learning in your own time, having the independence in learning and using initiative. Arguing whether which one is better is very challenging. One has its advantages and disadvantages, but if asked to whether which one preferred, online classes is my choice.
