The future is bright, healthy, and environmentally conscious. The way of life most are accustomed to is beginning to change. The millennials are leading the movement towards a no waste, healthy lifestyle, bettering the world for future generations. Going green is a concept that has been gaining popularity worldwide, especially among today 's youth. Not only is going green becoming more popular, it’s becoming a necessity. The environment has limited resources, and there are simple steps we can take towards using less to better the world in which we live. Green living has encouraged us to not only take better care of the environment, but to take better care of ourselves. Young people are becoming more conscious and concerned about what they’re consuming. Organic and Non-Gmo foods are becoming more popular and affordable. People are looking closer at ingredients and are straying from processed prepackaged foods. Fresh, organic, and pesticide free are healthier, and better for our bodies. Having a healthy diet is necessary to having a healthy life. Gluten, and other food allergies are becoming more common. This is because when food is processed, the nutrients are lost, not only the nutrients but certain components of the food that makes it digestible. It takes a lot of thought, will power, and willingness to change to truly go green. Negative impacts of not going green affect our home life including money spent on utilities, our wildlife animals, moving forward species extinction, our society and us as consumers, buying local and supporting energy efficient, recycled, and organic products, and even our bodies and digestive tracts, keeping ourselves healthy. To go green is to make changes in our daily routine, and reduce our waste. When these changes are accepted and adopted into society, society itself starts to change. Big business modifies to our consumer wants, are homes become less wasteful and we start saving money.. Walking or biking to the store, car pulling, or driving a hybrid helps reduce emissions. Driving less can make us more active, contributing to a healthier lifestyle. Eating organic and whole foods helps our bodies digest properly, deterring us from illness and allergies.
