Having Genetically Modified Organisms around spells doom to humankind. Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) is a process where companies take genes from one organism and add them into a genome of another organism. This process is unnatural since this process does not occur in nature and gives humans the power to change the genes of any organism that they encounter to benefit themselves. A solution to getting rid of Genetically Modified Organisms is to poison all foods that are GMOs so that anyone who ingests them realizes how bad GMOs are for their health. By poisoning the GMO crops and killing those that eat GMO crops, this initiative scares people into not having GMOs thus making people less likely to want to eat GMO products. The insane

Imagine the scenario that a company takes a gene from winter wheat that allows winter wheat to grow in colder weather and inserted it into a cocoa plant that could now grow in colder areas. The cocoa plant would then be able to be grown in areas that are not tropical, allowing farmers in Oregon to grow the fickle plant and have a chance to grow a crop that is more profitable.This scenario is becoming more likely each day as advances in gene editing and scientist gaining a better understanding the different genes in each organism. In the article, “GMOs will Destroy Our Entire Food System”, by Robert Ross, it states, “Organic and non-GMO foods are the best and the last defenses we have against this insanity” (Ross). Ross claims that our organic and non-GMO food is the last thing that is preventing the world from going insane. The intentions of the big businesses that are creating GMOs are completely diabolical. “Ventria developed three varieties of GMO rice, each with a different human gene. Two of them are engineered to make compounds found in human breast milk and saliva …..GMO’s may eventually destroy the “genetic diversity” of our entire food supply, slowly killing us all.” (Ross).
