Bymers interviewed people ages from 30 to 75 and they all said the same thing “ it was like clearing their mind in meditation”. With this said I believe it is clear that many adults love extreme sports because it simply puts their mind set to the test.I believe these particular people feel this way because they are doing something fun and it …show more content…
Which is something you won't really hear because why would you put kids that have a mental illness up to the task of having to do extreme sports ? According to the owner of “ Camp for kids with autism” in Colorado it's actually an amazing technique to teach kids about all these “ more difficult” sports. The owner's name is Doug Glistral he has been running the camp since it opened which was in 2001. He says that “It’s about taking kids to the extreme, the kids who have difficulties with extremes in everyday life”. The type of extreme sports and activities they do is Rafting, Rock climbing, skiing, rope course and much more. I think this was a great idea because when the kids get out to the real world they'll have the power to be in control of their situation. With this said , extreme sports play a bigger role than just risk

In spite of not being a pro, teens should not specialize in one sport by participating in multiple sports because if they specialize in one sport they can receive permanent or serious injuries. In 2002, Mike Webster, hall of fame center of the Pittsburgh Steelers died at the young age of 50 due to consecutive years of constant damage to both the body and brain. Not only did his death finally catch the attention of the media, his mysterious death also raised a lot of suspicion towards the NFL and as a longtime fan my argument is why safety in the NFL has been swept under the rug for such a long time? Safety was a word that undoubtedly had very little importance in the NFL up until the 2000s, note that the NFL started in the early 1920s, and now after 80+ years of unspoken destruction the NFL has finally come under fire for their shady practices. It is sad to say that much of the NFL today still seems to have their technological focuses solely on ways to make the game better, faster, and more exhilarating for the fans. Though the effort of also making the game safer for the athletes is gradually getting more attention, we football fans all should know by now that safety still isn’t much of a…
