Doritos are being consumed by all different ages and genders all over the globe. Doritos come in many different flavors, which have given it an advantage over other competitive chip companies. Similar to every other type of product, Doritos have come up with many different ways of propaganda to get their product noticed. One in particular caught my eye and definitely influenced me in many different ways. In this commercial, there are three men in waste deep water trying to noodle catfish. The first man comes crashing out of the water with a large catfish. The second man is eating a bag of chips next to him; of course, he has left over cheese on his fingers from the chips. He then goes to wash his fingers in the water, and then all of a sudden he feels something attached to his finger and he pulls up a mermaid sucking the cheese off his finger. Every time I see a bag of Doritos now, I immediately think of this commercial.
Some may say this ad is inappropriate for some views, but in my mind it attracts a large audience that will be willing to buy the product. This commercial may not be appealing to a majority of female viewers but it attracts men from the ages of fifteen to sixty years old. Doritos are consumed by all different ages and

The use of humor and eye-catching silliness had hooked me since the first time I saw this ad. From start of the commercial, there was really no specific meaning linking these 3 men noodling catfish to Doritos. However, everyone knows the feeling of the cheese-covered fingertips you get after eating a bag of Doritos. Some may ever say that would be the best of a bag of Doritos. This commercial was trying to get each and every viewer focused in to laugh when they created it.
