A controversial topic is the highlight of today’s news- Donald trump’s ideas to lengthen the U.S.-Mexico border, to deport “anchor babies” to Mexico, and the fact that the U.S. wouldn’t be economically stable without these immigrants. Now although Donald Trump is not yet president, many claim that he has a chance of winning the 2016 presidential election. Many fear this idea may be true because the U.S. population, of people who can vote, is for Trump. Theoretically speaking, Mr. Trump’s ideas would not only cause conflict with Mexico but he would also cause massive human rights violations. Several people do not support his ideas however; this only brings him more fame. In order to stop him from becoming president people those who dislike Donald Trump should not stress his ideas because the more they talk about him, the more fame he gains, and the more fame he gains the more popular he gets. He plans to deport more than 11 million undocumented immigrants which would make if the largest deportation in recent history. Now, there is a problem with trying to build this fence. The length of the border between both countries is 1,954 miles; there is already a border length of 670 miles. Which means The U.S. would only need 1,284 miles but the cost to build one mile is $16 million, according to New York Times. With that says they would have to pay about 20 billion dollars to build a fence but there’s a catch. Building this border would be a waste of time because according to Pew Research Center, 40% of undocumented immigrants come on a plain. They do however come with visas but all they do is overstate their visas. Finally, Wall Street Journal has said that in 2013 over 125,000 Mexicans came to the U.S. and 147,000 undocumented immigrants come from China. Make the Fence a complete waste of time and
