Over a million healthy dogs die each year due to local shelters euthanizing them for the wrong purposes. The euthanization of the overload of unwanted dogs in shelters has been an unstoppable problem for many years in Georgia. These innocent dogs are being killed daily by local shelters in Georgia because of space and cost issues that pertain to that shelter. This issue must end in order to save countless dogs’ lives and to find these dogs new homes with responsible owners. An approach to solving this issue must include looking into to the prevailing legislation on this issue, the people and associations against ending this problem, and all the possible solutions there are to fixing this ongoing
