Would you want to be couped up inside an apartment all the time? Neither would your dog. A town dog park would benefit Muscatine by making resident dogs happier.

The main argument against the dog park plan is that: "Noise from barking dogs and yelling owners will disturb nearby residents." (No Dog Park for Muscatine, paragraph 3, line 2.) This is silly because in Muscatine, noise complaints are only taken after 10:00 in the evening, while the dog park would close at sundown. If the residents of Muscatine are fine with human noise until that late, then why would they care about some noise from the dog park during the day?
