Dog abuse is a problem because dog fighting has become a huge thing in all 50 states. According to PETA people for the ethical treatment of animals, dogfighting is often linked to other crimes, including illegal gambling, drug activity, and murder. This is important because the more dogfighting the more crimes we have and that makes the world more dangerous and less safe for all of us. According to halo, a dog rescue team says, the presence of these dogs in a community increases the risk of attacks not only on other animals but also on people.
