"It is not the strongest of the species that survives nor the most intelligent but the one most responsive to change."Quoted by evolutionist Charles Darwin. It has long been debated by creationist and evolutionist about change in species, How world was created, and how man has evolved and what are ancestors are from. In this essay I will show the creationist side and evolutionist side to theories of creation and evolution over earth, species and organisms and let you decide your side on your own and maybe change your mind on some of these topics.

The Cambrian theory was a theory that made everything evolve in a short period of time.
Evolutionist do not really believe it ever took place but do consider it and the theory has been questioned. If their ideals our valid sure the theory is evolution but it is a very rapid one and not a long time of creatures and organisms evolving like they have predicted of all organisms. But they argue that it's just an increase in the rate of fossilization. Creationist believe it is valid because it is shown in previous and current fossil records. My opinion is that

Evolutionist think and assume that since sediment forms slowly today it has always formed slowly. So that they believe that sedimentation occurs only during very long ages of time in so that means they think the Earth is very old. Creationist believe that because most rocks are very thick the Earth is not old and to back up their point. The flood could form rock layers very fast eroded and placed elsewhere this could explain the thickest in rocks of modern day to back their point up Mount St.Helens that erupted in Washington produced 25 feet of fine layered sediment in an single afternoon. I would have to go with creationist because saying that because sediment forms slowly doesn't mean it has always been that way and theirs honestly not much physical evidence to back their claim

“Evolution as Fact and Theory” by Stephan Jay Gould outlines the constant taxing debate over evolution among creationists and evolutionists. He outlines the major issues that fuel the dispute and provides the logical and scientific approach to evolution for a clear argument against the claims of creationists. He firstly, provides a thorough explanation of the misconceptions of the definitions; “theory” and “Fact’. In the common vernacular a fact may be perceived as undeniable information with absolute certainty. (gould)…

Evolutionary Creationism is a belief that God created the universe and all life including our surroundings through evolution. We have an old Earth that is 4.6 billion years old. When God was creating the Earth, the seven days weren't made up of our twenty-four hour days. The time he spent was consisted of what we know now as years. This took up a lot of time as well as the many years in between each event in the Bible.…

While these two theories are both forms of evolution, they are entirely different. To see if they are accurate, you can look to the Bible for answers. In Genesis chapter 1, in verses 11, 21, and 24, the Bible clearly states that the living plants and creatures could only reproduce after their own kind. “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every…

Creation science is a pseudoscience because it disregards scientific evidence that contradicts it and provides illogical explanations to prove their argument. To begin with, the evolution model counter argues all of the creation model’s seven aspects with its seven aspects. In the evolution model’s perspective, the universe, solar system, and life were created by natural processes, mutations and natural selection bring different kinds of complex organisms from its predecessors’ simpler forms, men and apes share a common ancestor, earth’s geological features change, or remain the same, from its slow, gradual processes with infrequent catastrophic events, and earth and living organisms exist a long time ago. There is scientific evidence to prove…

The New Theory Evolution a simple four syllable word. A word that not only changed the way we view animals and ourselves but also sparked debates. Unfortunately this paper is not based on the 1960’s classic Inherit the wind by Stanley Kramer. Which was about whether or not evolution should be taught in schools. No, in fact, that word has created yet another fire.…

Progressive creationists take a different stance, stating that each day in creation represents possibly hundreds of millions of years (Bebber, 1995). During this time, there was a progression of organisms being created by God. The frequency of God’s involvement in this process is in question amongst these creationists. Evolutionary creation is the theory that God designed the universe so that all structures and life would evolve from His initial creation. However, as with progressive creationism, theistic evolution also has varying degrees of ideas concerning God’s involvement in the design of the universe (Rusbult, 2010).…

There is a separation from science and religion when they should go hand in hand. Evolutionist, however understand that the conflict between evolution and creation is there but they look for the concrete evidence of why. Darwinism and Christianity are the two sides of the argument and those that have accepted Darwinism have made them no longer believe in creation. This new way of thinking impacted Christianity and their morals within society.…

In the essay, “Evolution as Fact and Theory,” Stephen Gould defenses Charles Darwin’s theory of Evolution over the beliefs of creationist on God creating all organisms in the world. To further his support, he states his three arguments which are observational evidence, the imperfection of nature, and transitions found in fossil records to demonstrate that even though evolution is just a theory, there are plentiful evidence of facts that supports it. The essay was not just about justifying the theory of evolution to the creationist but also to reject the ideas of blindfolded views on scientific creationism. Throughout the essay, Gould acknowledges many of the major perspectives of the scientific world to support the theory of evolution that…

Creation versus evolution is a world renowned topic that has been argued upon for an extended period of time, by a wide collection of people. There are many people with very different facts on each, but in the end it is still an ongoing debate. Scholars for Creationism have their arguments, but scientists also have their arguments. There are things that have resemblance for both, but they can’t seem to come up with a compromise of where the first atom came from.…

However, scientists believe in the theory of evolution. They believe organisms change over time as a result allowing it to adapt to its environment better. This helps it survive and have more offspring, which leads to the development of humans from apes. Scientists has proven evolution by fossil, anatomical, and molecular records. While both Christians and scientists have their theories, creationism is based on beliefs, whereas evolution is based on facts and data, therefore it’s more accurate.…
