Often times, I drift off about the wonders of the world and the thoughts of what’s to come seems to be endless dream. What if you could walk into fertility clinic and strategically build the characteristics of your offspring? What if the same sex couple could walk into a fertility clinic an be assured of having a baby with their genetic make-up? What if we were able to preserve the genetic make-up of endangered species? What if we could produce more food and never have to worry about famine? All of these questions and more come into play when discussing the topic of cloning. True cloning is the creation of a genetic twin of the original organism. Cloning can take place on the DNA of a person, animal, plant, or even a bacteria.
