Some consumers are concerned that their product, which they are eating, has bad chemicals in them. The FDA has conducted a large research evaluation. This research included examining the safety of the food from the cloned animals and the risk to the animal’s health. Once concluded, the FDA wrote a report saying that the meat and milk from a cow, pig, and goat clones and the offspring of any animal are safe to consume and are just as safe as the food we eat every day (FDA). The producer is not required to label products from a cloned animal however. The FDA announced that it was not up to them whether the producer provides a label.
