Climate change is a controversial topic that has been heavily discussed over the last two decades. Researchers have been gathering data to determine if the overall change in the global temperature is based solely on systematic changes in the environment, or if the global temperature has rose due to drastic increases in carbon emissions over the last thirty years. Recently, there was a meeting to discuss how to control carbon emissions. This meeting is known as the World Climate Summit which was held in Paris, France in December 2015. We are currently at the end of an ice age and and that the globe will continue to warm over the next century due to the conclusion of the ice age. They claim that what is taking place is not human inflicted climate change, but is instead caused by the end of the ice age. Although this is true, it has been proven that since industrialization and the implementation of coal as an energy source, the rate in which the glaciers are melting has increased, and the average rate of global temperature has increased drastically. They also argue that if we were to eliminate the use of coal as an energy source, the number of jobs available would drastically decrease, but this is without the consideration of job creation. With the addition of new resources, it would require skilled workers to power the machinery and power plants. It would create more jobs due to the increased number of materials needed to power towns and societies than coal power systems do, while also lowering the global atmospheric temperature as well as the pounds of carbon dioxide released into the
