Can you imagine that you are a U.S soldier and you are on the front lines battling for your country? All of the sudden you see a whole bunch of young kids shooting at other soldiers come out of nowhere. They all look terrible cuts and bruises on their faces like they have been forced to kill, like they don't want to be there. So you capture them and find out that the U.S wants to tried them for killing soldiers. You ask why they are just kids? Don't they deserve amnesty? In this essay child is from 1 to 19 because that's when most young adults become more mature. Child soldiers should be given amnesty because they were drugged, forced, and brainwashed.

When these child soldiers were young as 10 they were taken from their families. They were forced to fight or they would be killed or torchered to if they didn't fight for them.these Kids were forced into the war by the people who kidnapped them. They were threatening these Kids to fight. Such as saying that they would kill them or torched them. So these Kids did the smart thing and said they would fight so they had a chance to live.

Once they started to fight for them they would drug them so they wouldn't feel bad about taking a human life. so they thought it was alright to kill because they didn't know what to do.young kids trying to get there life back together while on drugs it's hard for them to get out of it though.
