Kids all around the world are either bullied or bullying someone else right now. There are many ways to stop a bully with bystanders and the victims. Everyone needs to take a stand against bullies. They will not stop bullying unless someone does something about it. A bully is much worse than a bystander. To begin with, there are many reasons why bullies bully and how they do it. Bullies bully you or someone else because of what you wear, what you do, your hairstyle, habits that you have, such as nose picking, and many others. According to “Tales of Bullying”, they may bully because they feel insecure or have been abused at home and are letting out all of their steam at a public place like school or the internet. Once again, 85% of kids are bystanders. Think, if you could get 100% of the bystanders to take a stand against bullying, how much less bullying there would be. Just because you are telling on a bully, that doesn’t mean that it is tattling. In fact, you would be better off turning them in. create anti-bullying clubs for anyone to join, no matter what they have done in the past. As said in “Meet the New Sheriff”, a boy named Elijah created an anti-bullying club to stop bullies, and, as a result, 70 students joined. Try to make bullies stop, it will make schools a better place. As you can see, bullies are much worse than bystanders. In bullies’ backgrounds, lots were once bullied or abused at home. They have been harmed and are now the ones harming. In conclusion, bullies are worse than bystanders. Bullies have reasons they do what they do, bystanders need to stop standing around, and you need to take a stand. So, stand up for someone the next time they are getting bullied.
