Brother Armstrong is being falsely accused of murder. I'm going to present to you evidence that proves that this child is, without a shadow of a doubt, innocent. As the evidence of this case will show, Brother Armstrong is innocent because William Armstrong's death was a result of fear and disability, not murder. My client is a 12-year-old boy who loved and cared very much for his disabled brother.
The brothers were close, they would sit together and weave flowers together. Brother Armstrong even taught William how to walk, they had been working on other abilities and hoped to be done by the time school started. They had times when they sat in the woods and talked about the future and how they would live together. Brother Armstrong even stated that he wouldn't tell his brother that some of his thoughts could never happen because he didn't want to wreck his dreams. Truth is that he may have started out not liking William, but he realized that he truly loved and cared for his brother. All siblings, no matter how close, will have their up and down moments. It will never make them stop loving one another.

William was born premature and this lead to disabilities, the doctors and parents didn’t think he would live very long. Nobody ever explained to brother Armstrong the possible results pushing William too hard. In this case the quote “ignorance is bliss” is definitely not the case, he pushed his brother to do well while completely unaware that it could potentially cause issues and the parents had noticed that William was beginning to look sickly.
