Persuasive Essay On Breast Feeding In Public

Breast-Feeding in general is a natural thing for women in our body. It is a way to give what a baby needs when they are newborns. Breast-Feeding goes back to when cavemen existed, and was normal to the cavepeople around them. Nowadays, people are making breast-feeding a debate in American culture whether or not it is socially appropriate to do it in public, which in a personally level I think is okay because of how important it is for the baby. \ The reason it should be socially appropriate is because of the standards of what the newborn needs to survive and all of that matter. There are positions that a mother has to go through into having a baby which takes a lot of work and to worry even more about what someone else thinks at the same time to just feed them, isn’t fair. I’ve heard that some women are very paranoid that someone is going to tell them something for breast-feeding in public that they do it in a car to avoid that tension. A parent of a 9 years old may not have a big issue with it but for the son that is in elementary might. The parent is worried that their son is going to see something they aren’t supposed to at that age. Another reason it may not be right is for the women sake, I know personally I wouldn’t want to be showing everybody my personal parts, especially when there is a lot of people around. In the conclusion, I believe it should be socially appropriate for a woman to breast-feed in public because it is her own right to do that as a mother. What would really help is to have a thin cover up, so that its appropriate for a child of age to not see a personally part of the mother.
