If you're looking for a less crowded beach experience in the sunshine state than Neptune Beach is for you. Found just east of Jacksonville, FL, a visit to Neptune Beach doesn't have to be a quiet one. You'll have plenty of time to lounge around on the sandy shores, but you can also visit the market town around the beach. You can find beach activity rentals at Jax Surf and Paddle Shop or stop by Pete's Bar for happy hour; and if you're looking for a souvenir be sure to visit Sailors Siren or Beaches Green Market.
