For example Sweden. There are different classes of licences you can get, to get a sports shooting licence you have to have been joined to a hunting club for 6 months or more. A prospective hunters licence requires you to [ass an examination and there is also a limit on how many guns you have. You may have 6 rifles or 10 pistols or an 8 gun mix. Also a major difference to the US is guns cannot be used as self-defence and semi-automatics require special authorisation. The difference between the countries are shown in these stats: murders per million with fire arms in the US is 42.01 were Sweden is only sitting at 9.7. That’s a 32.31 person per million difference which really does say something also to add to that, the amount of guns per 100 people was over double in the US compared with Sweden. There are many more countries with a stats like this and similar gun laws. These statistics really show there difference that gun laws have. This shows that if the US changes their rules over time crime and murders will reduce.
American gun laws at the moment are too soft. More and more problems will grow, people will become more anti-gun laws and also sooner the rules change sooner the US will become like Sweden. There needs to be change and it’ll be for the
