Puppy mills may seem nice at first, but they often overbreed their animals and keep them in horrible living conditions. They do not care for their animals well being. Operators care about profit like a farmer selling livestock. Many states do not even have any laws regulating puppy mills, and operators usually get away with malnutrition and abuse.
