In the United States, animals are abandoned, beaten, and fighting for their survival every day. Forced to live in unhygienic conditions with no water or food, they don't have very much hope as they live out their days lacking the empathy or consideration that they deserve. Some are discovered and rescued, given the opportunity to experience how magnificent their lives can be; others aren't so fortunate. In order to change as country, we must stick up for these mistreated animal’s rights and seriously correct the mistakes of cold-hearted people who abuse them. It is up to us to stand up for these creatures who lack a voice, because who will if we do not? Chickens and turkeys are crammed into huge, dark, airless sheds and bred to be slaughtered. These birds are so artificially mutated that they cannot even stand because of how unnaturally quick their bodies grow, causing many to die of heart attacks. Chickens and turkeys are very sociable creatures that like to be with their companions, to bask in the sun, and to bathe in the sand.
