Everyone in the world deserves to be treated with respect. No one deserves to be mistreated or abused in any way. People should not treat others in a violent way. Moreover,animals should not be abused or killed just because they are not human. They can feel too,just like any other person in this world does. Animal Cruelty in our society should be banned,with laws that put people in jail due to the fact that they are hurting animals.
Consequently,current laws are passed but not quite really followed still. That's why being put in prison is a bigger punishment than just paying for your ticket. There is an organization; ASPCA. They deal with cases ,and within a year they help arrest about 300 people or more for animal cruelty. Also even a medical program that takes care of injured and abused animal. Nevertheless,what we don't notice is that it isn't just cats and dogs the ones being abused. It's also cows,alligators,horses,etc. it doesn't matter who or what it is they just don't deserve the cruelty. If you mistreat an animal they will try to fight back. And it won't end good for the person or for the animal,it's dangerous. How do you not expect for an animal to not fight back, when you destroy or invade their privacy. You would get angry,wouldn't you? Just try to put yourself in their perspective. This website helped me find an organization that is against animal cruelty. They even made people vote to find out if they should stop horse slaughter and 80% voted that it should stop and be banned. “Every year, more than 100,000 American horses are trucked over our borders to be slaughtered for human consumption. Until this practice is banned and Congress passes a law against slaughter here in the U.S., no horse is safe.” (ASPCA).
