If school is all year round there will be drastic changes in the american lifestyle. For example school being all year round would be a problem for children because year round school will not give students enough family time. This is the case because sometimes parents like to take a vacation, or a break once in awhile. Therefore the government should let schools have a break during the school year so that children can have time to spend with family and friends. There are many more problems such as parents would have to make scheduling adjustments, and year round school won’t give students enough time to spend with family and friends, and year round school would cost more money. The government should make school be all year round so that kids can get a better education and so that children can learn more. Kids would learn more if school is all year round because they will be in school longer, and usually when children get out of school for summer break they start to forget the things that they learned from the previous year. Kids will learn more if school is all year because they won’t have breaks other than the weekends. This is good because then kids will remember what they have learned the previous week.

To conclude my argument of why school should not be all year round. Many people say that school should be all year round because children will get a better education, and will learn more. But many people state that school should not be all year round because it is costly, and doesn't give kids enough down time. But many people state that school should not be all year round because it is costly, and doesn't give kids enough down time. To conclude this essay schools would have to pay more money, children wouldn’t get enough time to spend with family and friends, and parents would have to make scheduling

Osborne Jr., a retired principal of the Snug Harbor Community School in Quincy, Massachusetts, expresses that evidence for year-round schools that show improvement are sparse and many educators are reluctant to experiment with year-round school schedules (Osborne Jr. 28).…

Schools in America will spend up to 30% of their budget to provide transportation for their students. In the long run, this money could be put to better use by paying teachers a better salary. However, a year-round calendar would provide students with more learning opportunities, and would not have to catch up on work. Students that are dedicated at having a good education and excel in school wouldn't mind having school year round.
