The modernization of our world has greatly improved the lives of millions of human beings. This innovation wasn’t for free, it came at an enormous cost. One of the prices we have to pay for is our air quality. The air plays a vital role in the lives of every organism, for humans the air carries the oxygen that we need to survive. But human beings have rapidly deteriorated the quality of the air ever since the industrial revolution. Solar energy is available almost across the entire planet and is a limitless source of power. Recent innovations in photovoltaic technology has made solar energy a cheaper and viable alternative to traditional fossil fuels.The reason why solar energy is limitless because it uses energy from the sun and the sun will remain usable source for billions of years. Another reason solar energy is a great alternative is because each year the sun provides more solar energy than human commercial energy consumption.(Blakers, 2015.) Another technology advance is the creation and development of electric cars. On March 31,2016, Tesla Motors unveiled the Tesla Model 3. The Model 3 is Tesla’s answers to an affordable zero emissions and zero gas electric car, the base model will cost 35,000 dollars. As a consumer you have ability to influence the environment with your purchases. Instead of buying a traditional gas or diesel powered car, you can get an electric that will travel 215 miles per charge.
