Writing about affordable college was hard, but made simple for me. I Started looking into why we should have affordable college, and then reasons on why we shouldn't. Looking into what is to come if we make all public higher education is affordable for everybody shouldn't be such a hard concept to grasp. When I started my research I was introduced to a man named Bernie Sanders; a man who some would say he is the change America needs, others would say he is destroying the foundations of America that we have been building for years. Either way you look at this controversy I think you should know not only the statistics of free or affordable college, but to enlighten you on why affording college is not a topic you should say yes or no to before you hear the full argument.

Sanders is Vermont's senator with a simple plan. A twelve step plan to be exact. The twelve step plan consists of 12 issues that he can find a more effective and faster way to help America be great again, number 8 being Making College Affordable for All. There are many opposing views. Such as why we shouldn't have affordable college for just anyone. An article written by Matthew Ygleseias: Three Problems With Making College Free Are quite interesting to read. Yglesias says, If the level of subsidy were increased enough to eliminate tuition, the faculty and administration of public universities would still thirst for more money. A logical place to raise the money would be- tuition. After all, a college degree is a valuable commodity. He is not looking at the bigger picture and is not trying to look into what can better the future.
