If you think about it, homes, cars, and schools all depend on some type of non-renewable resource. That is why my new middle school in Carlsbad, California will run on a renewable energy resource, hydropower. Electricity from hydropower is good for the environment, it will not be made far from the school, and it is more reliable than some sources.
