Every start of the school day kids, instructors, administrators and staff pile into the building. A deranged person may blend in comfortably and complete an unforgettable action. Armed guards control the access in the schoolhouse. Defending the school entrances and observing the people coming in and out is their job. Armed guards held law enforcement careers for many years. They know what suspicious behavior looks like and will be able to find a doubtful person.

The Columbine High School had a security guard and a shooting still occurred. Expense is an issue, it would be cheaper to get efficient security systems. Furthermore the guards won’t protect the students, they only sit at a table and check ID’s. There isn’t enough guards placed in the schools, arming the staff would solve all issues. It’s not mentally healthy for the kids to view armed people around their school, it can induce anxiety. Equally importantly, the armed guard can falsely detect a students' behavior and shoot
