The time, dedication, and hard work that people put into pushing themselves and their team to be able to succeed allows teams to strive for the need to be competitive. It teaches you how to do whatever you have to do in order to lead yourself and your team to success. cheerleading should be treated as a sport because of the intense skills, strength and determination, and the uplifting character that a basic cheerleader has. High school cheerleaders, are upholded from most students because they’re looked at as a leader and to set good examples for other students, (mostly young) at their school.
