Hunting, something man has been doing for centuries in order to survive. Today some still use it as a food source, others use it for fun, and some use it for serious sport. Many hunters are trophy hunters looking to put something rare and exotic on their walls, but there are many hunters that hunt for the simple fact of conservation. Many animal activist see all hunters the same, as cruel and selfish people. When in fact sportsmen contribute nearly $8 million a day that goes to support wildlife agencies and conservation. Hunting also supports more than 680,000 jobs each year in the United States. They are many different views and opinions about conservation and whether or not it is actually helping wildlife. This is why hunting seasons are set up in early autumn because animals tend to develop more disease during this time, hunters are cutting off this spread of these diseases.
