I have no desire at all. The job I want to do would teach me more on the job in 3 months than I 'd learn in 4 years at school. I am going to college anyway because it has been beaten into my brain that I am worthless if I do not earn my degree. In my school, treatment is obviously different between the academic students and the career technical education students. This blows my mind really. These CTE students can build cars from nothing and build houses and plant entire gardens and we academic students look down on them? I personally can do physics, but cannot even fathom how to change a tire. These CTE students actually know how to handle themselves as adults. They were taught what to do in emergency situations and what to do to get a job. I, along with every other college-bound student, have been told to go to college. But what 's after
