“The fashion wears out more apparel than the man.” is a quote spoken by Conrade in Act III scene III on lines 119-121. At this moment in the play Borachio and Conrade are just finishing a conversation about fashion which occurs just prior to Borachio telling Conrade about the favor he did for Don John. This quote is still applicable to society today because of the current fashion industry. For example, Kim Kardashian led the trend of wearing a full metal belt at the waistline. However, this statement piece lasted for only a couple weeks due to the how the belt cut into the hips when sitting.
